About the Waitlist
Why is there a waitlist?
If there is a waitlist prior to teams forming or games beginning, it generally means we have hit the limit of players for the number of coaches available.
Should I join the waitlist?
Yes! The waitlist is first-come-first-served. The sooner you get on the waitlist the better your chances of getting the next available slot. And it doesn't cost anything!
How will I know if I am activated from the waitlist?
You will get an automatic email as soon as you are activated from the waitlist. We often send text messages as well, but those are not automated. Our volunteers do the best they can to notify you personally if they have time.
If you are activated, it is important to respond right away. We usually have limited time to fill the spot and will need to move to the next available spot on the waitlist if we get no response.
Is there something I can do to improve the chances of being activated?
Yes! We give preference to our volunteers. If you volunteer to coach or bring a coach to us, you will be at the top of the list and are often activated immediately after the coach completes the requirements. We also always need additional referees and many other volunteer positions.
